Briefing leaders without vanity metrics
Executives need adoption stories they can act on — not heatmaps they cannot interpret.
Lead with the decision: invest, redesign, train, or retire. Charts follow the recommendation, not the reverse.
Show one primary feature per briefing. A wall of scores invites cherry-picking.
Include a human path: who was supposed to find the feature, and where they actually went.
Separate product change from enablement change. Many adoption gaps close with guided tours and success playbooks, not new code.
End with owners and dates. Analytics without accountability return as the same slides next quarter.
